Lisa Maltby (DIP.HIC Bsc Social Science Psychology, MBACP )
Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling , trained at Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have seventeen years experience in the field of emotional and behavioural psychology with adolescents, parents, professionals working with adolescents and adults. I have worked in the UK and Internationally and have been employed in private and public schools as a counsellor . My most recent work has been with individual adults with a main focus on bereavement, trauma and loss. I have been working with two local counselling agencies in Hampshire for the last two years.
I started my career in 2001 working with young people and their families facing challenges and later moved into individual work with adults. I am passionate about the work I do and believe in the potential within each human being . I have seen the capacity people have to work through challenges and find their inner resources.
I offer a very tailored approach to each individual client as we are all unique and are bringing many different experiences into the room with us.
